Several random patches in the spool.

Parameters

Parameter Description
time_gap The difference in time between each patch. Use a negative
number to create overlap.
length The number of patches to generate.
time_min The start time of the first patch. Subsequent patches have start times
after the end time of the previous patch, plus the time_gap.
**kwargs Passed to the _random_patch function.
